strange but true incident that happened on the 16th Jan 2010 on the
day of the Solar eclipse in Teperumanallur Village Sivan temple near
Kumbakonam.
This cobra had been observed visiting the Sanctum Sanctorum on the
temple by the Priest on two earlier eclipses. He had therefore
requested a photographer who resided at Thirunegeswaram about a
kilometer from the temple in question, to be ready in case the
incident was repeated on the 16th. When the Sanctum was opened on the
16th morning, the priest finding the snake immediately sent for the
photographer. It is said that the cobra made three visits to the
Sanctum Sanctorum with a Bilva leaf in its mouth that it fetched from
the Bilva tree, which is the Sthala Vriksham of the templஇவ் விஷயங்களை அனுப்பிக் கொடுத்த வளவனூர் திரு நா.பாஸ்கரன் அவர்களுக்கு மிக்க நன்றி. ப்லாகில் பதிவு செய்ய உதவியசிறுமி பேத்தி மநஸ்வினிக்கும் ஆசிகள்.காமாட்சி.
